The Lead Loop Starter

Four lessons to a steady flow of leads.

Read them in order or jump to the part you need. Each takes about five minutes.

Lesson 1: Get seen

Social media is not where most sales happen. It's where people first notice you and decide you're worth a click. So every post should do one of three jobs: show what you do, show how you think, or show proof that it works.

  • Pick one platform your buyers already use and post there consistently before adding a second.
  • Answer real questions. List the ten questions customers ask before buying. Each one is a post.
  • End with one next step. Point people to a single page: your free resource or booking page.

This week: write down ten buyer questions and schedule three posts that answer them.

Lesson 2: Catch the lead

Sending social or ad traffic to your homepage wastes it. Visitors need one focused page with one offer and one form.

  • Offer something small and useful: a checklist, a price guide, a short quiz, a free review.
  • Write the page in three parts: the problem they feel, the result your offer gives, and what they receive.
  • Keep the form short. First name and email is enough to start. Ask for more later.
  • Connect the form to a CRM so every signup is saved, tagged with its source and ready for follow-up.

This week: choose one offer and draft its headline in one sentence. Try our free Lead Magnet Idea Maker.

Lesson 3: Follow up automatically

Speed and consistency win more sales than clever copy. A new lead should hear from you within minutes, then keep hearing something useful over the next two weeks.

  1. Minute 0: deliver what they asked for and say what happens next.
  2. Day 2: a short, personal note from a real person. Invite a reply.
  3. Day 4: one helpful tip connected to their problem.
  4. Day 7: show how you solve it, with a simple example.
  5. Day 10: answer the two most common objections.
  6. Day 14: a clear, low-pressure invitation to book or buy.

This week: write email 1 and email 2. Plain text is fine.

Lesson 4: Bring back the rest

Most visitors leave without acting. Retargeting shows them a relevant ad after they leave, so you stay in mind while they decide.

  • Install your ad pixels (Meta and Google) on every page before spending anything on ads.
  • Build three audiences: all visitors in the last 30 days, pricing or service page visitors, and people who started but didn't finish a form.
  • Match the ad to the audience. General visitors get a helpful resource; pricing visitors get an invitation to talk.
  • Start small. A modest daily budget is enough when the audience is people who already know you.

Bonus: Retargeting Starter Checklist

  • Meta pixel installed and firing on every page
  • Google tag installed with conversions set up
  • Form submissions tracked as conversions
  • Audience: all visitors, last 30 days
  • Audience: pricing and service page visitors, last 14 days
  • Audience: form starters who didn't submit
  • Exclusion: existing customers and recent leads
  • Three ads: answer a question, show how you work, invite them to book
  • Landing page matches each ad's promise
  • Weekly check of cost per lead and booked calls
